Herbert,
Thanks for stopping by and also thanks for your comment. I'm glad the trinity-structure resonates with you; it's certainly an advantage over the traditional content-advertising model of blogging income. Good to hear from you! :)

Hi there Baz,

Just got to your blog through the ProBlogger forums (sorry if you found that unnecessary -- I find that as a blogger, I'm always curious as to where my readers come from), and you've turned me into a fan of blogging as a religion.

This whole idea of a monetization trinity makes sense, and serves as a great alternative in contrast to the more 'traditional' form of money-making -- namely, ads.

I hope you keep the material coming, and stay motivated.

From,
Herbert

Lyle,
Hi buddy! It's nice to see you made it here and thanks for the subby! The Barry Krishnas...what a crack up. Heidi N. coined that phrase us that as I recall.

As far as social media, I see it as working hand-in-glove with attracting followers. Granted, you've got to give them something worthy to follow, but Twitter especially is a great way to attract new back row attendees. :)
